A dual VCA integrated circuit, manufactured by Curtis Electromusic through the decade of the 1980s. The 3360, introduced as an improved version of the earlier 3330 dual VCA, was hugely successful, being used in a wide variety of influential designs including the Roland Jupiter-6, the PPG Wave 2.2/2.3, and the Sequential Circuits Prophet VS. The design was noted for its ease of integration requiring few external components, good noise and control voltage feedthrough specs, and ability to be configured for linear or exponential response.
In 2018, Erica Synths introduced a pin-compatible dual VCA intended as a replacement for the 3360. It is available from them as the AS3360.
