A UK-based manufacturer of modules for modular synthesizers, in the Eurorack format. The company focuses on re-creating circuits from classic analog synthesizers (mostly ARP and Roland) from the 1970s. AMSynths is owned by module designer Rob Keeble, who started collecting analog synths in the 1980. In the early 2000s, as a hobby, he began building modules for his own use. This avocation evolved into his vocation when he founded AMSynths in 2011.
In addition to fully assembled modules, AMSynths offers bare PC boards, and a few component packages containing hard-to-find components, for DIYers. The company only occasionally sells panels, but panel design files can be downloaded from the Web site.
