Ambient Goa is a genre of electronic music that combines elements of trance, ambient, downtempo, dub, ethnic music, and new age music. The genre is similar in sound to classic trance, but the tempo is slowed down by 2-3 times, and the rhythm is usually less pronounced. In addition, experimental electroacoustic music, jazz, and progressive rock also influence the formation of sound. Often, musical compositions contain elements of regional musical cultures of performers, in particular, Indian and Balkan instruments and melodies.
