A programming language for creating audio and music synthesizers in a software synthesis environment. ChucK was created by graduate student Ge Wang and professor Perry Cook at Princeton University. The first version was released in 2004.

Free versions of ChucK are available for download for WIndows, Mac OS X, and Linux. A version for iOS has been written, but is not yet available to the public as of August 2016.
