Colour Bass (also called Color Bass) is a subgenre of bass and a colorful style of dubstep.

Characteristics[]

It combines elements of heavier subgenres (Brostep or Riddim) and lighter subgenres (Melodic Dubstep or Liquid Dubstep) and uses colorful and liquid-esque synths. This genre is similar to future riddim, but future riddim is usually off-beat and has future bass influences.

The artist who had created and pioneering the genre is the British DJ named Chime, and was popularized by Ace Aura, Sharks, Dr. Ushuu, and Skybreak.
