DeathTear is a trending combo genre of Deathstep and Tearout productions made popular by the artists of Marauda, Svdden Death and STVG. It borrows Deathstep dark, ominous and horror atmosphere, chopped up guitars, screaming vocal chops and death growls which are often used as harsh sustained melodies for atmospheric purposes; overlapping with Tearout's "industrial" chaotic turbulent style and it's abrasive metallic production; mainly it's harsh "blown out" tumultuous sound designs, industrial "supersaw" sustained screech basses, girthy metallic "shotgun or machine gun basses" with distorted clipping about 0dB. DeathTear sometimes can be equally chaotic and distorted as Tearout, but equally as dark, heavy, horrific, and nightmarish as Deathstep, while normally, DeathTear overall sound usually tends to comes off as more epic sounding than both the genres.
