Edgar Noel "Ed" Bogas is an American musician and composer. He was a member of The United States of America, an experimental rock band led by Joseph Byrd. He later contributed to recordings by music artists such as Ruby, Clover, The Rowan Brothers, Gene Ammons, Leon Spencer, David Wiffen and Sly and the Family Stone.
From 1977 to 1989, Bogas composed the soundtracks for Peanuts television specials. He was also the composer for the Ralph Bakshi films Fritz the Cat and Heavy Traffic, as well as several video games. He arranged the music for Pinball Number Count on Sesame Street, which was sung by The Pointer Sisters.
He married Desirée Goyette in 1993.
