Electronic Rock is a fusion genre combining rock and any form of electronic music. It emerged in the UK in the 1960s. It is distinguished from traditional rock by the use of electronic instruments and the use of electronic elements, such as synthesizers, MIDI and DAWs. Electronic Rock is mostly influenced by electronic music genres such as Synth-Pop, Musique Concrète, Experimental, New Wave or again Electroclash.
